Yesterday, Jordan’s King Abdullah II stressed the importance of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas leading to an “extended truce that pushes towards a political solution that achieves the Palestinians’ legitimate rights,” stressing that there is no alternative to the two-state solution to achieve a just and comprehensive peace.
A statement issued by the royal debt said: King Abdullah stressed, during his meeting at the Al-Husseiniya Palace in Amman, the head of the Senate and a number of the heads of the council’s committees, “the importance of intensifying efforts at the Arab and international levels to translate the cease-fire in the Palestinian territories into an extended truce, pushing towards a political solution that achieves The Palestinian brothers have their legitimate rights. ”

He stressed “the need to strengthen the steadfastness and support of the Jerusalemites, and to help the brothers in Gaza to alleviate their suffering after the Israeli aggression.”
