Elections to the lower house of the eighth convocation to be held in autumn
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree calling for elections to the State Duma of the eighth convocation on September 19, 2021. This was announced on Thursday, June 17, on the official website of the Kremlin , the document was published on the Internet portal of legal information.
The decree of the head of state was signed in accordance with part two of article five of the Federal Law “On the election of deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia.”
