“Biden recruited”
US military aid promised to Ukraine in the amount of $ 100 million may be frozen. Coincidentally or not, the announcement of this coincided with the summit of the United States and Russia in Geneva, where, as Vladimir Putin put it, the topic of Ukraine was touched upon by a “smear”. The well-known writer and politician Zakhar Prilepin and the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova spoke on this matter.
The freezing of American military aid to Ukraine was reported by Politico, citing its sources. According to her, in particular, we are talking about short-range air defense systems, small arms and anti-tank complexes and other lethal weapons.
Commenting on this message, Zakhar Prilepin wrote on his Telegram channel: “Yesterday I wrote how Kiev political Ukrainians hated Trump and prayed for Biden. And how soon they start to feel nostalgic for Trump. It seems not even “soon”, but “very soon”.
According to him, after the publication in Politico, one should expect “a lot of material in the Ukrainian press about how Biden was recruited into the USSR at Gromyko’s dacha.”
In turn, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Mariy Zakharova, left this entry on her Telegram channel about the suspension of the US military aid package: “Where is Kuleba (Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba – MK) with a devastating statement?”
