The publisher of the Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda project and the first deputy general director of the Komsomolskaya Pravda Media Group, Roman Karmanov, has been appointed head of the Foundation, which was created on the initiative of Vladimir Putin. The president said that the country should have such a structure in his Address to the Federal Assembly. The Foundation will hold competitions and, based on their results, provide presidential grants for projects in the field of culture, art and creativity. In 2021, the government has already allocated 3.5 billion rubles for these purposes.

Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko drew attention to the fact that Karmanov is the winner of the competition “Leaders of Russia. Politics”.

“His appointment is, among other things, the continuation of the consistent system of personnel selection and promotion of the most talented managers, which has been implemented for a long time by the decision of the president,” Kiriyenko stressed.

Roman Karmanov has worked for Komsomolskaya Pravda for almost 11 years. Over the years, he raised and made the market leaders KP in Vladivostok and KP in Petersburg, and also successfully managed structures in the federal Komsomolskaya Pravda, including Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda.
