Food courts, cinemas and theaters closed again in Buryatia due to coronavirus

Restrictions will be valid until July 1

The fight against the third wave of coronavirus has begun in Buryatia . Earlier, all festive events scheduled for June were canceled in the republic, and now new restrictions have been introduced. To stabilize the epidemiological situation in the region, the operating hours of shopping and entertainment centers are limited to 20 hours. In addition, from June 12 to July 1, the work of food courts inside the shopping center has been suspended, with the exception of take-away service.

“Also, until July 1, children’s entertainment zones and centers are closed both inside shopping centers and in individual buildings,” the government of Buryatia said . – Restrictions also apply to attractions in parks. Cinemas, theaters, children’s day camps are closed until July 1.

Now residents of Buryatia will not be able to get into not only shopping centers, but also cafes, restaurants, and public transport without a protective mask.

“Based on the current epidemiological situation, this is a soft version of restrictions,” said the head of Buryatia, Alexei Tsydenov. – If it gets better in a week, we will go to reduce the incidence – we will remove restrictions until July 1.

Recall that this week Buryatia has sharply emerged among the leaders in terms of the rate of increase in the incidence in the country, leaving ahead only the Moscow and Leningrad regions.
