Now law enforcement agencies are collecting evidence, and the court will decide the fate of the likely terrorists. Note that in April this year in the Lower Rhine and the department of Puy-de-Dom, a group of seven terrorists was detained. Six of them are from Russia, one more is from Georgia. They are suspected of financing Syrian militants.

According to preliminary data, these two arrests are not related. But French police are aiming to target radicals inside the country after a high-profile incident in the fall of 2020. Then an 18-year-old Chechen cut off the head of a teacher from a college near Paris for showing cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad. The police have eliminated the killer.

On April 22, in the Stavropol Territory, officers of the regional FSB department detained a militant who, according to their information, was preparing a terrorist attack on Victory Day on the territory of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in the city of Norilsk.

Explosives and submunitions for the “stuffing” of the bomb were found not in the Stavropol Territory, but already in Norilsk, in a cache equipped by an ISIS militant (an organization banned on the territory of the Russian Federation) in the basement of one of the city’s houses.
