From these positions, how do you assess the request of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the consent of Ramzan Kadyrov, “Putin’s foot soldier,” as he calls himself, to go for another term?
- I would, Sasha, say that today is one of the brightest and most wonderful days in the history of the Chechen Republic, the peoples of the Chechen Republic, and not only, but also Russia, I would say. This testifies to the highest level of confidence of the President of the Russian Federation in the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov. And this testifies to the fact that the president intends to support him in the future, to help the republic.
Well, and it is very important that this happened on the same day with the World Congress of the People of the Chechen Republic, which took place today in Grozny, and 5 thousand people, at their request, turned to Ramzan Kadyrov with a request to nominate their candidacy.
