The government approved a plan of state support for projects in the direction of “artificial intelligence”, according to which 5.26 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of the sphere by 2024.
According to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the funds will be distributed based on the results of a competitive selection. The winners will be able to allocate subsidies for the purchase of software and equipment, payment for the services of IT specialists, rental of offices and maintenance of workplaces.
“The size of the grant per recipient should not exceed 100 million rubles,” the Cabinet of Ministers said.
